Light piercing through dense haze, a claustrophobic warmth, the inert passing of a single moment. Inspired by a fascination of the extreme posture and athleticism of figure skater, Yukina Ota, two recordings paired for cassette by Australian composer Lisa Lerkenfeldt, balancing one another in timbre & pace. A post-digital reflection on intimacy and technology embracing music concrete and automation. A highly recommended piece of left-field ambient work.
