Suite For The Drains

Australian composer Lisa Lerkenfeldt explores the hallucinatory nature of echo in the storm water network on ‘Suite For The Drains’. The intentionally limited cassette & booklet releases on May 1, 2024 featuring 70 minutes of new music, including variations from a 2022 commission for The Substation, compositions for the artist’s recent Japan tour, and collaborations with LA’s Claire Rousay, Krakòw’s Martyna Basta, and Naarm cellists Emile Frankel and Abby Sundborn.

Halos of Perception

Lerkenfeldt introduces electroaoustic techniques of refraction to explore the acoustic mirror on ‘Halos of Perception’.
The album releases on November 3, 2023 with a hyperreal film for ‘Amulet of Sweat’ in collaboration with Chinese-Malaysian Australian video artist Tristan Jalleh.

Shell of a City

Shell Of A City’ releases in CS/DL format on Room40 on September 1, 2023 with a short film in collaboration with photographer Traianos Pakioufakis. Participate in a Listening Walk on September 30, 2023 at a secret location.

With Water Up To Her Knees

‘With Water Up To Her Knees’ was released by Shelter Press in small series cassette single edition and digital with a limited pullout poster and poem by the artist. The work has its world premiere at eminent electronic arts centre the Substation, Melbourne on 24-25 November 2022, with a hybrid performance in collaboration with filmmaker Tristan Jalleh. 

A Liquor Of Daisies

‘A Liquor Of Daisies’ released June 5, 2020 on Bandcamp and with a limited reissue on December 5, 2021 by Shelter Press. In collaboration with AR designer Stephanie Overs, the artist developed ‘A Liquor Of Daisies’ augmented reality filter to place a daisy in your hair or the atmosphere. Try it here.
